What We Do
The Hult Center for Healthy Living is a nonprofit organization whose youth health education classes supplement the health education efforts of Illinois schools, as well as for families, civic groups, youth organizations, and social agencies. We offer programs for Pre-K through high school students on many health related topics. Our programs are designed to meet your classroom objectives, as well as Illinois State Goals for Learning. Our signature health education programs are based around the five teaching theaters here at the Hult Center – General Health, Nutrition, Reproductive Health, and Substance Abuse Prevention. Most of our health education programs can go on the road and be implemented in schools throughout Central Illinois via our outreach programming. Many of our programs can be tailored to fit your students’ needs.
Who Provides the Services
Our team of dedicated professionals is composed of individuals with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a health related field. Many of the Hult Center educators are Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). We also have staff certified in multiple curriculums, many of which are evidence-based.
