Healthy Heroes is our annual summer program that educates at-risk children on the importance of health and respecting their bodies. This program is for children entering kindergarten through 7th grade and has become one of our premier programs for youth. With funding from the Heart of Illinois United Way, the Hult Center is able to engage our Healthy Heroes participants in making and enjoying a variety of nutritious snacks, health education lessons, art projects, and physical exercise. Each summer the Hult Center partners with more than 25 community agencies and serves more than 1,200 children. Other activities from past years have included car passenger and bicycle safety, bullying education, nutrition and healthy snacks, and dental health. Call the Hult Center at 309-692-6650 for more information.
