Year Round Volunteer Opportunities:
Office Assistance: Hult Center also needs volunteers to help staff in preparing mailings, answering phones, preparing packets for educational programming, filing and organizing, and assisting with special event planning and preparation, etc. Hult Center will also train dedicated volunteers who are willing to commit 4 or more hours one or more days each week to help with daily office tasks.
Special Projects: Volunteers are occasionally needed to help with special projects at the Hult Center. Such projects might include: stuffing bags for our dental health month; helping prepare projects/materials for the Healthy Heroes summer camp; or helping direct people at our annual Senior Health Fair. Know someone with a special talent that is willing to donate their time and expertise? The Hult Center’s theaters need painted murals to go with the theme of each theater-general health, nutrition, substance abuse, and family life. We are also always looking for a videographer to help us film videos to highlight our programs!
Youth Health Education: Volunteers are often needed to assist the health educators with the health education programs. Oftentimes, the Tooth or Consequences dental health outreach program is in need of volunteers to help set up the dental models and help kindergarten students learn how to properly brush and floss their teeth. Tooth or Consequences programs are scheduled at various schools throughout the school year. Hult Center’s Youth Mental Health Matters program is also looking for volunteers to share their personal stories with students in the community.
