Oncology Counseling Services

Hult Center for Healthy Living’s Oncology Counseling Services offers counseling services at no cost to patients of Illinois CancerCare, survivors, and caregivers. These services are made possible thanks to funding from Illinois CancerCare, Bikers for Tatas, and Hult Center for Healthy Living’s generous donors.

Oncology Counseling Services include:

  • Individual counseling
    • Individual counseling for cancer-related issues is available in person and via phone for patients who receive treatment through IllinoisCancer Care, survivors, and caregivers.
  • Group counseling*
    • Group counseling for cancer-related issues is available at no cost to all patients, survivors, and caregivers; you do not have to be a patient of Illinois CancerCare to join group sessions.
      • Cancer Support Group (HYBRID)* meets every Wednesday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM via Zoom VIRTUALLY and IN PERSON at Hult Center for Healthy Living (5215 N. Knoxville Ave. Peoria), *The Cancer Support Group is open to anyone with cancer, survivors, and/or caregivers.
      • Gynecological Cancer Support Group (VIRTUAL)* meets via Zoom VIRTUALLY every Monday from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM; *The Gynecological Support Group is open to anyone with a gynecological cancer and/or caregivers.

There is no cost to attend the support groups and they are open to anyone with cancer and/or their caregivers.
